The deal, in plain language.
Buying plans
A purchase grants a license to the revision you bought, forever, under the license tier shown on the sheet: personal use, commercial with credit, or commercial. Plans are drawings and instructions; your build, your workshop, your responsibility.
Safety
Plans describe real tools that remove fingers. Creators list safety precautions; following them, and your local codes, is on you.
Selling plans
- You publish only work you own or hold the rights to. Imports attest to this.
- Publishing mints an immutable revision; buyers keep what they bought.
- The platform fee is shown at publish time and snapshotted per sale.
The product market
Maker listings credit the plan they came from. Deposits stay refundable until the build starts; campaign pledges charge only when a batch fills. Items built from purchased plans must respect the plan's license tier.
The boring but binding part
Canadian law governs. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario. We can suspend accounts that abuse the platform, with an appeal path. Full legal text replaces this draft before payments switch on.
