Sequence

The build, step by step

01

Trace the templates

Print full-size, glue to hardboard, cut once.

02

Cut the frame pairs

Jigsaw proud of the line, flush-trim as mirrored pairs.

03

Assemble the seat

Screw the stringers square before any slats.

04

Hang the back

The waterfall fan sets the recline; clamp before fixing.

05

Break the edges

Round every reachable edge; cedar splinters are mean.

Questions builders ask

Paint or oil?

Either. Cedar silvers beautifully if you do nothing at all.
